The Author Ercilia Delancer was born in the Dominican Republic. She’s currently a retired ESL professor living in South Carolina, USA.

She has been an ESL/EFL/EAP teacher since 1999. She hold a Masters in TESOL from Florida International University (Miami, FL) and have been a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal (2000-2002) and an English Language Fellow in Central Asia (2011-2013). She was a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer assigned to work in China in 2014.

She has worked as a case manager for refugee, asylee and victims of human trafficking students guiding them into the best course of studies based on their previous educational backgrounds.

She also has ample experience in dealing with learners of English from the illiterate level to the academic one and pride herself in being a passionate educator who looks after the whole individual and tries to address their needs.
